A folly is a structure that is useless as far as the typical functions of buildings. But
it still has a function: to highlight a view; to be a visual focus; and/or provide a
spatial experience. I designed and created a folly structure using sequential space strategies; arrival, progression, transition, etc. Three major spaces were created in order to achieve this. Each space increases in complexity. Circulation and traffic flow were major factors considered in the design of this project. Site analysis can also be demonstrated in this project, as the particular position was carefully chosen.
